Most people are aware that Petco Park is the home of the San Diego Padre Major League Baseball team. The stadium saw it`s first regular season game on April 8, 2004. The stadium was completed at a cost of $450 million and has helped to revitalize downtown San Diego. The location of the stadium affords views of the San Diego bayfront including the Coronado Bay Bridge and the San Diego Convention Center. The tours run nearly every day and the cost is minimal. This is a great way to find out more about the stadium, the Padres and get a chance to go behind the scenes, in the dugout and on the playing field. If you are a baseball fan, you should put this on your list when you are in downtown San Diego. Enjoy!
